OCC Golf - Sept. 9th

Please Note:
1. If you received some random email with a link from me last week, or anytime for that matter, please disregard. Seems as if my email was infiltrated by the internet pirates & the spam was reported to the higher beings at Google as well as privacy standards updated.
2. REPLACE your divots.
3. Guest Day - Thr., Sept 11th, all guest fees are $35 & includes cart rental.
4. Fri., Sept. 12th - We are hosting a member sponsored corporate golf outing beginning at 9:00 AM & the golf course will not be available for regular member play until 1:00 PM that day.  The practice facilities will be open for member use throughout that day.

Patriot Golf Weekend
I would like to again thank the membership for your support of Patriot Golf Weekend & the Folds of Honor Foundation as we raised over $1500!  The Folds of Honor Foundation supports families of fallen heros through financial assistance for families in need as well as scholarships for kids to continue their education. I'm very grateful for the continued support of our membership as we have just shy of $10,000.00 in the four years of associating with Patriot Golf Weekend.  As Major Dan Rooney, founder of the Folds of Honor Foundation & fellow PGA Professional, likes to tweet; God Bless America! #Noapologies

Upcoming Events
1. Fri., Sept. 12th - Glow Ball Golf - Sign up as a four-person team or couple to be paired for a great evening of golf under the moonlight!  We will have a cocktail party & dinner on the Clubhouse Veranda beginning at 6:30 Pm that evening as well as team skill challenges prior to going out to play glow golf.  The entry fee is $40 per couple/ $80 per team & guest are welcome to participate, please contact the golf shop by Thursday to sign up.
2. Sat., Sept 13th - Extreme Golf - Sign up as a two-person team for this early morning tee time event playing the links of Oxmoor as you never have.  We are formulating the extoic & adventureous routing of the course that morning that teams will compete in a scramble format & see the golf course as they have never seen it before.  Entry fee is $40 per team & includes skins payouts as well as winner awards
3. Sun., Sept 14th - OLGA Points Championship - Sign up in the golf shop for the final OLGA event of the 2014 season that will begin with tee time play at 8:30 AM and feature an 18 hole stroke play competition & determine the Overall Point Medalist for the season.
4. Sat. & Sun., Sept 20th & 21st - OMGA Fall Calcutta - Sign up as an individual in the golf shop for this 3-man team (A/B/C) Chicago Point Quota tournament with teams being paired on Fri., Sept 19th drawing party on the Clubhouse Veranda.  Play will begin both days with an 8:30 AM shotgun start, contact the golf shop if you would like to participate.
