1. Crystal Classic - The Men's member Guest tournament is scheduled to be contested next weekend & we have 2 spots left in the field.  The event will begin on Thursday afternoon with a 1;00 PM optional practice round followed by skills competition & the Calcutta dinner featuring bourbon & steaks for all participants.  The format is a round-robin match play with teams competing against each other for points (low ball/low total) to determine match winners & flight champions.  The Championship will be decided in a 3-hole survivor shoot-out playing an alternate shot with team handicap.  The entry fee is $525 per team & is a true showcase of your Club facilities as well as golf with fellow members.
2. Ladies Member-Member - Tomorrow we will host the first Member member event of the year.  Teams of two will be competing in a front-9 better ball and then turn to a back-9 Chapman Alternate Shot with handicap.  The Chapman Alternate Shot format consist of both players hitting their tee shots, switching balls & playing the partners shot, picking the best ball & then alternating shots until the ball is holed.  We would like to thank all those playing & times are noted below.
3. PGA Junior League - We will have a team practice for the junior's who would like to participate on the OCC junior golf team.  The junior golf team is for juniors ages of 9-13 & each junior must be able to carry/push their own carts while playing.  Practice tomorrow is at 3:00 PM & will go until 4:30 PM.

Congratulations!
Memorial day weekend featured 2 hole in ones, back to back days, on the same hole!  The 13th gave up the first perfect shot on Friday afternoon to Pat Bouldin who recorded his first ace from 171 yards using a 5 iron.  Chuck Maisch played the following day for the first time of the year and hit the perfect shot on the 13th from 165 yards using a 6 iron for his 2nd career ace!  The golf course has now given up 5 hole-in-ones this season with only the 16th hole being the only hole to yet yield the perfect shot.  Good hunting!
