OCC Golf-OMGA Matches

1.  Membership Meeting tonight has been postponed.

GREAT SHOT!

I would like to congratulate our Senior Club Champion, Rich Upton, for recording the first hole-in-one of the year yesterday.  Rich hit the perfect shot with a 4 hybrid from 174 yards & saw it roll directly into the hole for his 4th career ace.  Congratulations!

Tuesday Night Leagues Start THIS Tuesday

To all members,

 

Tuesday night mens' and ladies' leagues start again THIS Tuesday.  Call the golf shop or reply back to this e-mail if you would like us to sign you up for this Tuesday.  Also, let us know if you would like to be placed on the automatic sign-up list as well.

 

The ladies and guys will be both be playing a scramble to open up league play this week.

Please Note:

1.       Black markers have been put in front of approach areas to direct cart traffic back to the path around putting surfaces.  Please do not drive carts beyond these markers while playing.

2.       REPLACE divots & REPAIR all ball marks.  Even when you hit a pitch shot from 20 yards off the green, try to find that ball-mark, it does damage the putting surface if not repaired promptly.

OMGA Annual Match Play Sign-up Deadline

Sunday, April 15^th @ 4:00 PM

 

If you are a member of the OMGA & have yet to sign-up for the Annual Match Play Championships (President's Cup-Oxmoor Cup-Buddy/Buddy) then you are on the clock.  Please contact the Golf Shop prior to the deadline to sign-up for one, or all, of the match play tournaments.  Pairings will be released to the membership on Tuesday, April 17^th with all 1^st round matches to be completed by the June deadline.  It is the responsibility of both opponents to contact each other to arrange the match & any that have not been completed by the deadline will result in a coin flip to determine who advances.  If you would like to participate in the Budd/Buddy & do not have a partner, please let a member of the PGA Staff know so that we may try to pair you with another OMGA member.
