3. Fall Foursome Match Play Tournament.  Sign up by 2:00 PM tomorrow as a two-person team for this alternate shot match play tournament with matches drawn by the Tournament Pairing Program and teams competing in a double elimination bracket.

Congratulations to Mr. Lee Downing for hitting his first "field"shot this past Saturday morning for an eagle 2 on the 1st hole.  Lee hit the perfect shot from 87 yards with a pitching wedge from the fairway & also chipped in on the 7th hole from 30 yards out, giving him his best 9-hole score ever! Congrats!!

OMGA Points Championship

Sat., November 1st - 10:00 AM Shotgun Start

The OMGA Points Championship will be contested this weekend & it looks as if the golf course will not be the only challenge that the field will face as the temperatures take a little dip towards freezing. We have pushed the starting times back 1 hour on this Saturday & will feature a shotgun start tomorrow. Pairings are based off of points for R1 with participants receiving points based on their net scores after both rounds.  Pairings for R2 will be based off gross scores & will feature a tee time start beginning at 9:00 AM on Sunday.  Please note the pairings for R1 below:

OMGA Triathalon

I would like to thank everyone for participating in the final OMGA event of the season tomorrow. This is the final event to earn points for the season ending Points Championship, contested the weekend of November 1st & 2nd, with points being awarded to the highest possible finish in both the gross & net divisions. The event will feature three different formats; better ball #1-6, total aggregate #7-12, team scramble #13-18, played on our championship course to determine winners.  We look forward to seeing everyone in the morning, donuts & range available at 7:30 AM, and wish everyone in the field the best of luck!

OMGA Triathlon

We currently have 30 members signed up to participate in the final OMGA event of the year featuring two-man teams. The format will consist of 3 different games (better ball-total aggregate-scramble) contested over 18-holes with teams being randomly paired using the A/B format for pairing.  This is the last opportunity to get valuable points to qualify for the season ending Points Championship extended to the top 36 point leaders after the event.  Please contact the golf shop prior to this weekend to guarantee a spot in the field; we will have an alternate list in order to maintain equal number of players for pairings.
