Make sure you sign up for the final 9-hole game of the season.  The game will be a flighted stroke play event (A/B/C Flights) with payouts being awarded to both low gross & net scores from each flight.  Please call the golf shop to participate.

Jr. Club Championship

Sunday, Sept. 22nd

1:30 PM

The Jr. Club Championship will be contested this Sunday afternoon with juniors playing in either the championship division (13+), junior division (9-12) & future division (6-8). Juniors will be paired by the golf shop staff & maximum scores of double par will be all that is allowed while playing.  Please contact the golf shop to sign up.

Corporate Meetings & Golf Outings

I would like to thank all of the members who have looked to their Club to host corporate meetings & golf outings.  As we move into the "off-season" and begin to prepare for the 2014 golf season, I would like to encourage the membership to let us know about events that you have attended/played in at other facilities throughout this season.  We would like to get as many leads as we can so that we can present our Club & golf course amenities to event planners & hopefully gain consideration for hosting events. Please drop me a note & any contact information you may have and again, thank you for your support!

I have committed to playing 100 holes of golf in 1 day. Playing 1 ball and 1 hole at a time, I will raise money for the Kentucky Golf Foundation & the American Cancer Society at Oxmoor Country Club. I will begin a difficult yet rewarding journey on October 9th 2013. Last year, with your support, I raised $4,450.  Lets try to beat that this year!

As we all know, cancer has likely touched our lives in one way or another. This is something that is very near to my heart. Please help me raise as much money as possible for this great charity and for the Kentucky Golf Foundation which helps fund special events and grow the game of golf in Kentucky.

Congratulations!

Trae Joyce recoreded his first Hole in One this past weekend!  Trae hit the perfect shot from 158 yards with a 7-iron on the 8th hole that landed two feet from the hole & spun back in!  His shot was the 10th recorded hole in one of the year & still #16 awaits...

Patriot Golf Weekend

I would like to thank the numerous donations made toward the Folds of Honor Foundation for Patriot Golf Weekend at OCC.  We collected a total of $2300.00 over the weekend & that money will directly benefit the families of fallen American hero's through scholarship opportunities.  Again, thank you!

OLGA Points Championship

The 2013 OLGA Golf season is coming to a close this Sunday with the final 18-Hole Stroke Play tournament of the year for the ladies of Oxmoor CC.  Points will be awarded for net scores upon completion of the round allowing an opportunity for anyone in the field to leap over others based on their play.  I would like to congratulate & recognize the following ladies for their play in leading the point race thus far:

OCC-Patriot Golf Day

I would like to thank all the members who have supported the Patriot Golf Weekend over the holiday. Just wanted to remind everyone that we are OPEN for play today & this evening:

1.  All Members who would like to play this morning/afternoon will pay a $30 green fee (cash/check) in which 100% will benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation.

2.  All Members who would like to play in the 9-Hole league will pay a $20 green fee (cash/check) in which 100% will benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation.

3.  9-Hole League will feature a four-person scramble team using the ABCD pairing method including both women & men.
