Black Stakes
The black stakes located on each hole serve as a reminder to exit all cart traffic back to the cart path.  The turf maintenance team routinely moves these into strategically placed positions to help turf conditions.

May Guest Days
Circle your calendar for the 2 guest days this month.  The guest fee for that day is just $35 for the day & includes cart rental as well as lunch specials for the day.

OMGA Bilyeu Classic
May 16th & 17th
The OMGA Bilyeu Classic is quickly approaching & if you want to participate, contact the golf shop now!  This two-man team event consist of a 9-hole alternate shot competition on Friday afternoon (5:00 PM Start) & an 18-hole better ball competition  the following morning (8:00 AM Start), combining for a 27-hole team total to determine flight winners.  All flight winners & wildcard teams will qualify for the championship shoot-out contested on holes #7-9, again playing in an alternate shot format, that will determine the overall championship team.  

OLGA Notes
1. Ladies Buddy-Buddy Matches - Sign up in the golf shop as two-person team for the annual four-ball match with handicap.  All matches will be drawn & released on Mothers Day, May 10th by email.
2. 9-Hole Guest Night - Tuesday, May 12th.
3. Triathlon Event - Sunday, May 17th @ 1:00 PM
4. Ladies FUNdamental Clinics - Thursday, May 14th & 21st - 5:30 PM

A welcomed guest made an appearance at the club today. The Sun. Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed it. Thanks to all who supported the golf shop by playing in the skins game today. Winners are as follows:

Oxmoor Cup Round 2

Thanks to everyone for coming out and braving the elements to get your first round matches in. Round 2 pairings are posted in the Golf Shop. Round 2 matches MUST be completed on or before May 10th. Any matches not played by then are subject to a coin flip to determine a winner.

Special Contest Winners for today are as follows:

Hole 13 - Michael Schmidt 20' 0"

Winners received $50 sweeps ( Mr. Brooks and Mr. Mussler will split the winnings from hole 8 )

Tuesday League Night

Thank you to all who came out and fought the wind last night. Mother Nature has given us a challenge so far this spring, hopefully she gives us a break soon. 

The game for the men last night was a Stableford points challenge. The winners are as follows:

Gross: WINNER - Adam Columbia - 15 pts
           RUNNER-UP - Kevin Aldred - 14 pts
Net:     WINNER - Bert Robinson - 22 pts
           RUNNER-UP - Myron Coldiron - 21 pts

The ladies game was handicapped stroke play. Winners are as follows:

Oxmoor Golf - April 16th

Couples Glow Golf
Friday, April 17th - 6:00 PM Shotgun Start
Contact the Golf Shop if you would like to participate in a pre-thunder evening of golf with your friends & family at Oxmoor CC!  We will begin a 6-hole challenge that evening under the light of the sun at dusk, break for some appetizers & spirits, & return to the course for the final 6 holes played under the light of the moon. There will also be a couple alternate shot putting challenge for each team as they make the turn from hole #9 to hole #1 to determine the best putting couple of the field!

OLGA Notes
1. Sunday, April 19th 1:00 PM - Dust Your Clubs Off Scramble. Teams will be determined by the size of the field & using ABCD pairings, sign-up as an individual in the Golf Shop.
2. Thursday, April 23rd - Ladies FUNdamental Thursday's.  I would like to encourage any & all ladies of Oxmoor to come out for a fun evening of golf presented by my PGA Professional Staff. We will have a complimentary clinic beginning at 5:30 PM & then pair anyone who would like to play a golf hole or two, possibly 6 holes or even a 9 hole game with your golfing friends.  The FUNdamental Thursday's are scheduled twice a month throughout the rest of the golf season & we look forward to showing everyone, regardless of skill level, the beauty of the game of golf!

OMGA Notes
1. Saturday, April 25th Morning Tee Times - Oxmoor Cup.  Sign up for the first leg of the annual Oxmoor Men's Golf Association Match Play Championships by contacting the Golf Shop.  The Oxmoor Cup features a no-handicap match play format giving you the opportunity to golf your way through the brackets & into the lore of OCC champions!  The field will be divided into 2 flights (Churchill & Keeneland) determined by handicap index & all 1st round matches must be completed on Saturday, April 25th.  It is the responsibilities of both opponents to arrange the next round match prior to the deadline set forth & if not played a coin flip will determine the winner to advance to the next round.
2. Bilyeu Classic - Friday, May 15th & Saturday, May 16th.  Sign-up in the Golf Shop as a two-person team to compete in this 27-hole championship.  The Bilyeu Classic features a 9-hole alternate shot on Friday afternoon & then an 18-hole better ball the following morning to determine flight champions qualifying for the championship shoot-out.

4/12/15 Pick Your Master's Pro

Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the beautiful weather. I'm sure you all shared my happiness to see the sun out today. Today, the golf world witnessed our first wire-to-wire Master's champion since Ray Floyd did it in the 70's. Hopefully those who played in our game today picked a pro who went low today. We had 36 players in the game today competing in both the gross and net divisions. First, second, and third place ( in both divisions) will receive sweeps. $80, $60, $40 respectively. Winners are as follows:

            2nd Vince Tyra / Justin Rose 146
            3rd Mike Porter / Dustin Johnson 147

Walking Bridge Collapse

The heavy rains we had last week damaged the supports to the walking bridge on the right side of hole 6. The bridge collapsed, and will be out for some time. Please be aware of this as you're out playing in the upcoming weeks. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

OCC Golf

Please Note:
1. The Practice Range is CLOSED today for seeding & sodding purposes.  
2. OLGA Social Party is TONIGHT @ 6:00 PM in the Clubhouse. 
3. Tuesday Night 9-Hole League Play Begins Next Tuesday.  Sign-up prior to 3:00 PM deadline every Tuesday afternoon.  The sign-up sheet is located in the Golf Shop & we look forward to another fun year of evening golf!
4. Member Golf Handbook is in the Golf Shop & contains on the pertinent information for the upcoming season.  Please pick one up the next time you are at the Club.

Today we begin our in-season golf rates for the year (April-September) & look forward to seeing each member bring out clients, friends or family to experience all that we have to offer.  Please let us know when you are making tee time reservations if you have any special request that day for your guest so that we may better accommodate upon their arrival.  If you have any questions contact a member of the Professional Staff.
*Guest may be extended golfing privileges subject to applicable fees & regulations of the Club.  The sponsoring member is responsible for the conduct of their guests while at the facility.

Junior Guest (13-18 years old) = $20 Cart Optional
