Please Note:
1. Replacing divots in their whole is the best practice to help recovery of the turf. Please take pride in your course for those who are playing behind your game by making it better; repair your ball mark + another, rake someones footprint, pick up trash & let someone notice you passing along good deeds so that they may.
2. Icebreaker - The opening tournament of the year is open to all members (male & FEMALE) who would like to play in a fun four-person scramble. Members may sign-up as their own team or to be paired by the Golf Shop & encouraged to bring guest for an all inclusive entry fee of $40 (m) & $60 (g). We currently have 15 teams so please contact the Golf Shop to participate.
3. Handicap Posting - Those members who would like to maintain an USGA handicap may begin to notify the Golf Shop so that we may include you in our first transmission next week. All rounds MUST be posted to the handicap computer beginning on Thursday, March 1st. It is the responsibility of each member to record scores diligently in a honorable manner to uphold the integrity of the USGA handicap system. If you have any questions or would like to establish a handicap for the golf season, please contact the Golf Shop.
4. Oxmoor Iphone App - If you haven't downloaded your OCC App from the FREE market, then please do so. Our membership director, Teague Ridge, has put together the OCC App making it even easier for members to book tee times, view statements & stay in touch with what is happening at OCC. We have developed a new YouTube channel so that I may post my weekly podcast on the site for members to view at their convenience & have further plans to provide insight on the merchandise selection at OCC as well as golf instruction to help your game. Again, go to your iPhone market place, it's FREE!
5. Winter Ringer Challenge - Only 8 days left. All ties will be broken by using the USGA format for tiebreak beginning with holes #10-18. #13-18, #16-18, #18 & then by coin flip.
