1.  Ladies Rookie Clinic - 6:30 PM Tonight
I would like to encourage any lady (& friends) who wants to learn how to play golf to attend this 45 minute clinic.  We will begin by gathering in the dining room bar for a brief social & then experience the golf course with the PGA Professional Staff & have a golf fundamental clinic stressing the FUN in fundamentals.
2.  OLGA Opening Day - 8:30 AM Tee times
We have 16 ladies signed up to participate in this weekend's two-person shamble.  If you would like to participate, please contact the golf shop, & you will be added to the alternate list until another adds in order to maintain even numbers for pairing.  We look forward to getting the year started in this fun event for the girls of Oxmoor!
3.  OMGA Bilyeu Classic - Sat. & Sun. Shotgun
Attached to this email is a pdf of the teams for the upcoming Bilyeu Classic.  Members are encouraged to make their own team (we need tba names asap) for this 27 hole flighted event.  Saturday afternoon play begins at 3:00 Pm in an alternate shot format with handicap.  We will have a players reception after play in the 19th hole to determine pairings for Sunday morning's shotgun start. Sunday competition will consist of a better ball of the twosome to determine flight winners & wildcard teams for the shoot-out immediately after play has been completed.  If you would like to participate, please contact the Golf Shop by Thursday afternoon.

Great Playing!
I would like to congratulate Oxmoor member, Robie Crockett, for advancing through the state's US Open Championship qualifying site.  Robie shot a 3 under par 69 at Cardinal Club to advance to the 2nd stage of qualifying for our national open to be held at Merion Golf Club in June.  Also, I would like to congratulate Oxmoor junior member, Mike Sass, for his excellent play this weekend in the Hurricane Junior Tour event that we hosted this past weekend.  Mike won the medalist honor in the championship division with a total of 142, 70-72, for a 3 stroke victory while defending his home course!  Best of luck to both of these individuals as they continue to golf at the highest level in the upcoming weeks.
