Please Note:
1. Carts will be in the rough. Please DO NOT drive in the fairway during extreme heat conditions.
2. Water is good for your body. Please stay hydrated during extreme heat conditions.
3. Guest Day is this Friday. All guest fees are $35 with cart rental & tee reservations are required.
4. Speed Golf is this Saturday at 6:30 am. Please contact me if you would like to participate.
5. End of Summer Sale - Great deals on equipment & clothing in the golf shop. Bring in "old clothes" from your closest for an extra % off any purchase. All items will be donated to a local shelter benefiting those who are in need.
Glow Ball - Cancelled
Due to the rescheduling of the firework & club picnic, the Glow Ball will be canceled this weekend. I will communicate the new date when rescheduled later in the month.
I would also like to encourage any couples who would like to begin to play a casual 9-holes on Friday evening to reserve their name in our selected block of tee times. We will have tee times set from 5:36-6:00 PM every Friday evening for the remainder of the Fall with dining specials featured from Chef Jesse & just a $10 cart fee for the couple. If enough people sign up to play a possible game may brake out. Contact the golf shop if you would like to participate.
Patriot Golf Weekend
The Labor Day holiday is an emphasis on everything that is great about living in the united States of America. The weekend is one in which recognizes the values of our country & the many past Americans that have dedicated their blood, sweat & tears to help shape our great nation. I'm very excited to host the 4th Annual Patriot Golf Weekend with the membership of Oxmoor CC as we will again look to collect funds for the Folds of Honor Foundation. This Foundation was founded by a fellow PGA Member & retired Air Force pilot, Cpt. Dan Rooney, & provides post-secondary educational scholarships for children & spouses of military service men & women killed or disabled while serving our great nation. The past two seasons we have been recognized as an Outstanding performer & then Top Performer in the state & your support is greatly appreciated. Notes In Regards To Donations:
1. Members may make checks payable to the Folds of Honor Foundation & drop off in the golf shop.
2. Half of the money from the Sunday & Labor Day skins game will be donated to the Folds of Honor Foundation.
3. We will ask all groups that play that weekend to donate $10 per game ($2.50 a man) for each tee time beginning on Friday morning.
