The deadline for the Club Championship is 12:00 PM this afternoon & if you would like to participate, please contact the golf shop. We will send out starting times this afternoon at 4:00 PM & look forward to seeing everyone this weekend for the Championship.

To the membership at Oxmoor Country Club,
I would like to extend my most sincere thanks for allowing the Kentucky Golf Association the
opportunity to host the Kentucky Match Play Championship at Oxmoor Country Club. It was a privilege
and an honor to be able to compete on one of the finest golf courses in the state of Kentucky.
You, as the membership, have an excellent professional staff and grounds crew in place. Everyone was
very helpful and polite, and the condition of the golf course was simply fabulous. My congratulations go
out to Richard Schmitt, Josh Snider, and the entire golf staff for putting on a fabulous event. I would
also like to thank the golf course superintendent and his grounds crew for putting such a fantastic
product before us, the players. We simply couldn't have asked for more perfect playing conditions.
The food and beverage staff did not go unnoticed, as well. My compliments to the chef and the entire
food service department for providing such excellent meals during the competition. The wait staff was
also friendly and courteous.
Once again, I thank the membership for sacrificing the golf course to us over the course of four days.
Your dedication to allowing us to use your facility made for a truly wonderful and memorable
experience. After winning my first state event, I know with certainty that Oxmoor Country Club will
always hold a special place in my heart, and I hope that we, as the players, will have the opportunity to
enjoy future events at such a wonderful facility.
