Please Note:

1. Check the Grounds Information Board in front of the Golf Shop for daily cart rules & hole location placement.

2. Women's Kentucky Open Championship - July 8th-10th.  The golf course will be unavailable for member play until after 12:00 pm on both Tuesday & Wednesday.  I would like to encourage the members to come out & watch the best women golfers in Kentucky, including or own Meghan Thiess & Emily Tofaute, compete on our championship golf course!

Tournament Notes:

1. OMGA President's Cup - July 13th & 14th. Sign up in the golf shop for the final leg of the OMGA Annual Match Play Championships as an individual for the flighted net match play tournament.  All participants must be able to play on both days as those who advance from Saturday will play their next match on Sunday morning.  

2. OLGA Guest Day - July 17th.  Sign up in the golf shop for the upcoming women's guest day event.  Members are encouraged to invite up to 3 guest or make their own pairings with another member & guest team.

3. Men's Member-Member - July 19th-21st.  Sign up in the golf shop as a two-person team for the 45 hole tournament featuring the round robin format counting both low ball & low total.  The entry fee is $250 per team & is all inclusive with the exception of Calcutta wagering on Friday evening.  

Assistant Notes:

1. The Assistant Education Raffle will close on Tuesday, July 9th & if you haven't purchased a square, then you got 4 days to do so!  All proceeds go towards continuing my Assistant's Education through the PGA of America by covering test/travel expenses as they work to gain membership.  Members have a 1 in 4 chance of winning some great items for golf manufactures, golf lessons, guest packages & other donated items for Club vendors.  Each square is just $25 & the draw will take place immediately following the completion of the Tuesday evening league.

2. Lesson Package from the Assistant Staff - Four 30-minute golf lessons for just $100! 

Member Notes:

1. Congratulations to Gregg Brooks for recording his 2nd hole in one of his career this past Sunday on the 6th hole.  Gregg hit the perfect shot from 142 yards using a 9 iron & becomes the 6th person to post an ace on the links of Oxmoor this season.

2. Congratulations to Rick Turnock for winning the 2013 Flag Day Tournament. Rick bested the field by making it to the par 5 2nd hole, hitting his tee shot, overcoming 30 participants & mother nature's challenges presented yesterday.  Thanks to all who played!
