Dear Members,
I would like to begin by thanking everyone for their patience as we have transitioned through our business office reconstruction project this summer. I'm very excited to announce that we have officially moved into the new office and can't thank our Maintenance Director, Bill Taylor, for his direction of this project as well as members David Brown & Bill Coleman for their assistance to our improvements. Having everyone in one office will allow for better member service through having a more traditional business hours on Monday through Friday (9:00-4:00) which you will be able to speak to someone directly in regards to any questions that you may have regarding your membership. Please feel free to reach any of our staff for membership needs:

I'm very excited to have Ms. Jodi Goff join our professional staff to lead the new direction of our Clubhouse and restaurant operations. I know there have been many who have yet to officially meet Jodi but she has now had two weeks of on the job training and I can't express my gratitude for her direction during an extremely busy schedule. With her first two weeks came four golf outings, member-member golf tournament, daily business meetings, wedding, club social events and regular member activity which was a good "introduction" of our operations and an honest evaluation of our improvements needed to better the experience when hosting the next event. Please feel free to reach her in welcoming to the Club the next time you are here and be on the look for the new member experience that will be forthcoming for the remainder of the year.
Club Events
1. Zumba Class Tonight @ 6:30 PM - Join us for a FREE introduction into a fitness class directed by Zumba Instructor, Elaine Baker, in the Clubhouse Ballroom. Anyone is invited and everyone is encouraged to take those first steps to a better lifestyle options offered at your Club!
2. Couples Golf - Friday Nights @ 6:00 PM - If you and your significant other haven't been out to the Club for the weekly 9-hole scramble then you are definitely missing out on one of the best nights on the links followed by dinner and drinks with friends every week. Please contact the golf shop if you would like to participate before 3:00 PM on Friday afternoon.
3. Oxmoor Farm Market - Thursday, August 4th @ 1:30-3:30 PM - Come support or neighbors, Oxmoor Farm & Food Literacy Project, as they school their summer interns of how to harvest the crop and move it to the market for sale. This is the first of many projects that we will partner with the Food Literacy Project to create unique opportunities for our membership while also supporting their inspirational community work in promoting agriculture to inner-city schools.
Golf Events
1. OMGA Oxmoor Cup Matches - Round 1 matches begin this Saturday morning. Good Luck to all who are participating!
2. OLGA Member-Guest Day - Saturday, August 6th - Please contact the golf shop to signup for the ladies member-guest by Thursday, August 4th. This is always a popular event and members are encouraged to invite up to 3 guest and make their own pairings.
3. Team Shaan Foundation Golf Outing - Saturday, August 6th - Note that we are also hosting a member sponsored golf event that afternoon and the golf course will be unavailable for member play until 5:00 PM that afternoon.
4. Men's Club Championship - Friday, August 12th-14th - Who wants a parking spot? Sign-up in the golf shop to participate in the 54-hole stroke play event.
