1 - OLGA Member Member Blind Draw Tournament has been postponed due to course conditions.  Please mark your calendars for August 28th & 29th as the rescheduled date for the event.

2 - Carts MUST stay on the path at all times this weekend.

Men's Member-Member Championship

Friday, July 17th - Calcutta Party in 19th Hole

Saturday & Sunday, July 18th & 19th - Round Robin Match Play

The Men's Member-Member Championship is quickly approaching & we currently have 30 teams signed up to participate; including our Defending Champions, Eric Hinderer & Denny Merrifield!  The Men's Member-Member is open to all gentlemen who maintain a handicap & features a round robin match play format against all teams in each respected flight.  All matches will use a point scoring system per hole, 1 point for low ball & 1 point for low total, to determine the match winners as well as the overall flight champions after the 5 rounds.  The entry fee is $125 per player & includes the tournament awards, cart rental, lunch both days & tee gift for participating.  Please contact the Golf Shop is you would like to play & note that you may be put on an Alternate List in order to maintain the necessary even numbers of 6 for flighting purposes.

Golf Outing Notes

Again, I would like to thank the numerous members who have inquired about the possibility of their Club hosting their corporate/fundraising golf event.  This weekend we are hosting the Ascension Parish Athletic Fundraiser on Sunday afternoon with a 2:00 PM start.  Members who would like to play either prior to or after will have tee reservations available, please contact the Golf Shop.  Also, please note that we are hosting the 2015 KY Open Qualifier on this Thursday, July 16th in which the golf course will be unavailable for member play until 2:00 PM that afternoon.  Please feel free to contact Wildwood CC, take advantage of the reciprocal relationship, or ask a member of the PGA Professional Staff to assist you in making a game elsewhere that morning if needed.  Finally, on Friday, July 17th, we have a small 9-hole corporate game that will take place on the back 9 that morning which should have minimum member interference that day.  Once again, please contact me if you, or anyone you may know, would like to get information in regards to Oxmoor CC hosting their event.
