Please Note:

1. I would like to thank those members who have "volunteered" their time to help our golf course superintendent, Mike Coy, & his staff during this past OCC Ownership nights.  This past Monday the lake on the 10th/18th hole was lined out (like #8 & #9) with fishing line to detour the goose population & hopefully continue their migration off our golf course!  

2. Check the grounds information board for daily hole locations & cart rules located in front of the golf shop.

OMGA Fourman Calcutta

Drawing Party - Thr. @ 6:30 PM Start

The OMGA Calcutta is open to all members of the OMGA & consists of teams counting 1-2-3 best net balls on par 3's, 4's & 5's as well as drawing one par 4 every day in which all four balls of the team must count.  Teams will be awarded the highest place finish in either gross or net scores with trophies & sweeps after completing Round 2.  Sign up in the golf shop.

Fitness Notes:

"Prosanity" Biggest Loser 5-Week Challenge

Over the last 5 years I have offered the membership the opportunity to learn how to incorporate a fitness routine into their lifestyle.  That fitness regime, "prosanity", has always used golf as the big carrot (lower your handicap) but the main purpose is bettering yourself through exercise & those that have completed the program can speak of the results that they have achieved.  I'm excited to get started earlier this season & include more golf! The Biggest Loser 5-week challenge will consist of a weight/handicap loss % for those who want to challenge themselves & we will utilize "prosanity" fitness sessions, power yoga & monitored golf practice sessions.  The member who has the best % at the end of the 5-week challenge will win some great gifts but none as an important as better health & golf!  The fee is just $150 per person & dates noted below:

PGA Championship Hole Marshals

If you would like to join the Oxmoor Team inside the ropes for the 2014 PGA Championship on the 2nd hole, then please follow the link attached to this message.  We still need AS MANY AS WE CAN GET to help fill the void of other Clubs that share marshal responsibilities with us for the week & allows you full access to the tournament outside your marshal work times.  Link is below this email & the access code for OCC is: 2014OCC

STEP 1:        Visit www.2014pga.com

STEP 2:        Hover over the 'VOLUNTEER' tab in the top right-hand corner and select 'Marshal Club Registration' from the drop down menu

STEP 3:        Enter the access key for your hole when prompted (if you have forgotten or misplaced those let me know, I have them all on file)
