OCC Golf

Please Note:

1. Carts are on the path today.  Also, please check out the Golf Course blog by our superintendent on the OCC app in regards to the upcoming summer conditions.

2. Thursday, June 20th - We are hosting a member sponsored corporate golf outing at 1:00 Pm in which all member play must be off the course.  We will have a 8:00 am start time for members who would like to play that morning.  The practice facility & short game are will be open to the membership while the event is being contested.  Please contact the golf shop for starting reservations.

OMGA Buddy Buddy Championship

June 22nd & 23rd

We currently have 32 teams signed up to participate for this weekend's match play event.  Teams will be flighted & matches drawn randomly from the USGA Tournament Pairing Program.  If you are a member of the OMGA & would like to enter the event, please contact the Golf Shop by the registration deadline at 12:00 PM this Thursday.

Ladies Golf Clinic

Thursday, June 20th

4:30-6:00

I would like to encourage any of the female members who would like to learn/improve their golf game to join my PGA Professional Staff & myself this Thursday.  We will cover swing fundamentals as well as introduce putting challenges that will improve your skills.  The cost is just $10 per member & guests are encouraged to join the fun.  Please contact the Golf Shop if you would like to participate.

PGA Championship Volunteers

If you would like to join your fellow members to marshall during the 2014 PGA Championship contested at Valhalla GC next year, please contact the Golf Shop.  I have been in touch with the Championship Volunteer Coordinator & we have opened up to fill our hole (#2) for more than the minimum of 33 volunteers.  We currently have 42 individuals who have committed to do so & if you would like to join please inform a member of my staff so that we may email you the information for registration.
