Please Note:

1.  Its going to be hot this week.  Please stay hydrated with water while playing.

2.  There will be some cart restrictions.  Please check on the grounds board, located by the front golf shop door, for daily rules.

3.  Please replace your divots, repair your ball marks & rake bunkers when exiting.  Your help with this can be seen & the group playing behind you greatly appreciates your effort!

I would like to thank the numerous members who signed up to play in the member-member after last week's email.  We currently have 30 teams & would like to add another flight of teams now.  The format will consist of a  9-hole round robin match play tournament with points being awarded on a low ball/low total per hole.  The entry fee is all inclusive, with the exception of Friday evenings Calcutta, and teams will be put on the alternate list until the flight is filled with 6 teams.  Please contact the golf shop to sign up.

Member Appreciation Note:

Just wanted to thank a few individuals for their support of Oxmoor CC this golf season.  First, thanks to Ben Jansen & Craig & Landreth Auto, for sponsoring the hole-in-one challenge during the Men's Member Guest.  Ben called me the week of the tournament, & with the approval by the Craig family (all golf enthusiast), parked a $25,000 convertible camaro on the 8th tee as the grand prize.  That is the type of guy I want to buy a car from.  I would also like to thank Ken Rick & his company, Premier Homecare, for allowing our Club to host their annual fundraising event.  This was the 6th season that Ken & his tournament committee has held their tournament at Oxmoor & it has always hosted a full field allowing us to showcase our Club in the local community.  Finally, I would like to encourage all members who may know of an outing or small groups of golfers to contact the golf shop.  Allow your Club the opportunity to host these event & continue to spread the word about what we are doing at Oxmoor CC!
