OCC Golf - Jan.19th

Six weeks until we turn back "on" the USGA Handicap computer for posting & officially begin the 2012 golf season at OCC.

 

Please Note:

1.  Carts must stay on paths.

2.  Please replace divots & repair ball-marks.  Make the course better for those playing behind you.

3.  Golf Shop Hours of Operation - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm * *Weather permitting

4.  Winter Ringer Scorecards - Please turn in all scorecards so that a new standing can be posted.

 

Spring Icebreaker, Sat., March 3rd

Members may begin to sign-up for the opening event of the year now!  The Icebreaker is a four-person scramble with teams consisting of members and/or guest.  The entry fee of $40/$60 is all inclusive & the fun is guaranteed.  Please contact the Golf Shop if you would like to participate.

 

2012 Calendar Notes

1.  OMGA Annual Matches - The OMGA Annual Matches (Oxmoor Cup, Buddy-Buddy, President's Cup) will be completed throughout the year within each events respected deadlines.  Participation sign-up for all events will be posted on March 1st & matches will begin on April 17th with allotted time for each opponent to schedule their respected match, 

2.  Club Championship - The Men's, Senior & Ladies Club Championship will be contested on the weekend of July 27th - 29th & feature a new format for the men/senior by having a 54 hole stroke play event to determine the champion.  Participants will compete in a 36 hole event & the top 8 individuals in their respected divisions will then compete the last round on Sunday afternoon determining the Overall Gross Champion.  The Ladies Club Championship remains the same.

3.  Crystal Classic - The Men's Member Guest will be contested on June 7th - 9th & is a limited field of 48 teams.  If you would like to participate in the premiere men's event of the season, then please contact the Golf Shop to reserve your spot in the field asap.
