Junior Golf Camp

Tuesday-Thursday, July 24th-26th

9:00-11:30 AM

The July Junior Golf Camp is intended for members & their invited guest, who have children the ages of 4-12 years old, that are interested in learning the fundamentals of golf.  We will group the juniors by age/skill & move them through specific stations that will enhance their athletic ability & golfing skills.  The cost of this is $40 per junior & $60 per junior guest, please contact the Golf Shop for more information or to sign up.

Friday, July 23 @ 5:30 PM

Sign up for this fun two-person event with your favorite partner.  Teams will participate in a stableford point scoring system & members are encouraged to make their own pairings or sign up to be paired by the Golf Shop.  Upon completion of play Chef Jesse Hatchett & his staff will have dinner specials for participating couples.  Please contact the Golf Shop to sign up.

2012 Club Championship

Friday-Sunday, July 27th-29th

The Club Championship is quickly approaching & this year we will have a new format.  All participants playing in the open division, men's division & senior division will play on Friday afternoon with tee times beginning at 1:00 PM.  Those members will then be paired by their score for the following round & the top 8 out of each division will then conclude the event on Sunday morning with tee times beginning at 10:00 AM.  The final round will be totaled with the previous two to determine the Overall Champions from each division.  The ladies will compete in a 2 day stroke play tournament on Saturday & Sunday with tee times beginning at 8:00 am both days. If you would like to participate, please contact the Golf Shop to sign-up.

Men's Member-Member

I would like to thank the 84 members who signed up to play in this years Member-Member tournament.  The tournament will feature a flighted 9-hole round robin match play counting both low/low total per hole.  All flight winners & wildcard teams will play a 3-hole shoot-out beginning on the 7th hole to determine the overall championship team.  Also, I have set aside a group of tee times, beginning at 12:30-2:00, for any teams who may be interested in playing a practice round competition.  Members are encouraged to make their own pairing & the game will consist of a team low ball & skins.  Please contact the golf shop if you would like to play on Friday afternoon.

Weekend Tee Times

Beginning tomorrow, July 4th, & on the weekends for the month of July & August we will begin to allow member play at 6:55 in the morning.  Those members who have a tee time for later in the morning tomorrow or on the weekend may move into a position noted below:

July 4th - 7:33, 7:42, 7:51, 8:00

July 7th - 7:21, 7:33, 7:42, 7:51

July 8th - 7:33, 7:42, 7:51, 8:00

These times will be reserved on a first come/first serve basis.  Also, just want to note that our time par is traditionally under 4:10 minutes.  When carts are on the path, the USGA estimates that it takes an additional 25 minutes to time par.  I know we can still do better than that.
